I bought this book for my husband (a real aviation buff) for his birthday. He loved it! The stories in the book capture the most significant flights from the first century of man's ability to soar. I particularly liked the story about Louis Bleriot crossing the English Channel in 1911. Stunning illustrations from the best aviation collections in the work really put my husband in the cockpit for an exhilarating ride through the history of flight.
