I expected a typical military aviation type story. It was not. Instead, it was an espionage thriller set in 'Nam, told from a variety of perspectives, through the eyes of the principle characters. You get to share their puzzlement, confusion and tension as the critical moment draws ever closer and they are running out of time. The climax of the story was surprising, as was the denouement.
I found some parts to be repetitive, but they were short, and you quickly found yourself back in the middle of this storm of events. This was a fun read, one that I recommend.
